We love our house -- the Midcentury Maison in McMinnville. We adore the brick facade, the location across from the (almost vintage) golf course, the backyard fire pit, the organic King and Queen mattresses, the matching wine glasses, the gourmet stove -- the list goes on! We don't want to brag, so we'll let our guests do it for us. Here are a few of our favorite recent reviews that'll make you want to book your next trip with us.
 Did you know that there are over 700 wineries in the Willamette Valley? While we've done tastings at only a fraction of the wineries, we have several that we've come to love. Here are a few we think you'll enjoy.
Brooks Winery While Brooks has good Pinots, their dry whites (Riesling, Gewurztraminer, Pinot Gris) and beautiful views are what draw us in. The great snack plates, espresso machine and outdoor space with red Adirondacks are huge perks. Eyrie Vineyards Founded by pioneer David Lett in the late 1960's, Eyrie is known as the first real winery in the Willamette Valley -- and it's within walking distance of Midcentury Maison. Learn about the history of Pinot Noir in the Valley through the lens of this very important winery. Goodfellow Family Cellars While the tasting room may not inspire you, a tasting with Marcus Goodfellow will. Located in McMinnville, you'll taste your way through the Valley with grapes from across the region. Marcus is a winemaking artist, and his wines are exciting while remaining affordable. By appointment only Johan Vineyards Dan Rinke is making some pretty special wines at Johan. Open daily from 12pm-5pm, his Pinot Noirs are fantastic, especially the "Three Barrel." But be sure not to miss the incredible Petillant Naturel sparkling rose -- come summer, you'll be glad you walked away with a bottle or two. Set on what almost looks to be a wildlife area as your drive off the country highway, don't let the signs for Left Coast Cellars deter you -- Johan will be to your right and you'll see a sign a quarter-mile in. Lovely view and down to earth tasting room staff. Martin Woods Winery If you're looking for a great winery off the beaten path, Martin Woods is the perfect spot. Set on a steep hill on the winemaker's personal property, you wonder if you're at the right place when you arrive. Luckily, winemaker Evan Martin is there to meet you and walk you through a perfectly intimate tasting. Evan is making wine a little differently, from using locally-sourced Oregon barrels to working with uncommon grapes like Gamay and Cabernet Franc. By appointment only White Rose White Rose is known for their whole cluster Pinot Noir - and they don't disappoint. Set in what resembles a beautiful house from The Lord of the Rings, the low-lit tasting room lets you really enjoy each vintage. Their fantastic staff is on hand to answer every question. The views and grounds match the beauty of the wines.  "...
